Incident Narrative
Employees were replacing the double block-and-bleed valve on an aircraft fuel check-out stand when one employee's finger became caught between the pipeline valve and the stationary pipe. The injured employee was wearing leather gloves. The left middle finger was de-gloved and later received a partial medical amputation.
