Incident Narrative

An employee was sorting construction and demolition materials on a pick station conveyor when he saw a plastic band that had fallen off the pick belt near the head pulley of the conveyor. He grabbed the band and was attempting to free it when the plastic band wrapped around his glove and right hand, breaking his thumb and index finger and cutting his thumb/hand. The conveyor was running at the time of the incident.
