Incident Narrative

An employee was on site collecting trash from a dumpster. The enclosure gate for the dumpster had drop pegs that normally hold, but 70 mph winds overtook the gate and slammed it against the dumpster while the employee's hand was in the way. The employee sustained broken bones, a dislocation, and vascular injuries to the right hand.
