Incident Narrative

An employee was holding a handheld drill in one hand and using his other hand to place a bit in the drill when it unexpectedly energized. The glove he was wearing twisted around the drill and his left fourth fingertip was amputated. His fifth finger sustained a laceration that required stitches.
