Incident Narrative

Three employees were moving a large tire from the bed of one pickup truck to another. The trucks were backed up to each other with the tailgates down. As the tire was being rolled from one truck to the other, it caught on the lip of the tailgate and started to fall. At this time, the injured employee was either knocked over or fell over and his hip struck the tailgate. He suffered a fractured pelvis.
