An employee was standing on a catwalk bridge, attempting to clean the inside of a kiln, when the employee fell approximately 30 feet off the catwalk and contacted debris and material inside the kiln. The employee suffered head trauma, a broken shoulder, broken ribs, and a broken pelvis, requiring hospitalization.
