Incident Narrative
An employee was installing a rolled insulation system on a building rooftop. The injured employee stepped from the controlled decking zone onto a galvanized purlin at the joint between the insulation and a ceiling liner panel. The purlin was slippery from weather exposure and the employee fell approximately 22 feet to the lower level (concrete), fracturing the upper left leg.
