An employee was operating a wood-wool machine to trim wood. He was attempting to rotate a wood piece when his fingers were pinched between the wood and a machine roller, partially amputating his right middle finger and causing soft tissue damage to his middle and ring fingers. Cut-resistant gloves and safety glasses were worn at the time.
