An employee just finished hand sanding a lugnut/lock, turned off the belt sander, and was returning to his normal work area when his right ankle gave way and he fell to the ground. He fractured his ankle and lower leg. The floor area adjacent to the belt sander was uneven due to previous equipment mounting.
