Incident Narrative
A forklift delivered a work roll to the roll shop for repairs. The forklift lowered the forks to the ground with the roll on the forks. The operator then slightly tilted the forks to have the roll come off the forks. An employee was using a steel bar to attempt to stop the roll. The momentum of the roll forced the bar from his hands and struck his lower left leg, breaking the fibula/tibia.
