Incident Narrative
An employee was bringing up mail in a cart from the basement. The employee exited the freight elevator and went to open the door to the lobby with her left hand. When she pulled on the door it gave no resistance and flew open. The employee's left pinky finger was caught and fractured between the steel casing for the doorstop and the door handle.
