Incident Narrative

An employee was asked to hold a wrench that was attached with a rope to a rod. The employee was retrieving the rod from the ground while the jaw on the drill rig was turning and the employee's left lower arm got caught between the wrench and the drill rig jaw. He was hospitalized for injuries to his lower left arm.
