Incident Narrative
A workover crew was tripping out of a hole when the drill line parted, causing the blocks to drop from 10 to 15 feet up and fall onto the floor. The drill floor sprung up when the blocks contacted it, throwing an employee off the floor. He fell approximately 15 feet onto the ground, breaking a rib.
