Incident Narrative

An employee was using a single trim saw to cut 2x4 boards. The machine jammed and the employee turned off the saw. She began cleaning out debris from under it when her left hand hit the still moving blade, resulting in amputation of the left pinky finger and lacerations to three other left-hand fingers.
