Incident Narrative

An employee was working on electrical connections from a scissor lift when an unexpected startup of a nearby suspended conveyor belt tipped the scissor lift over. The employee was injured and hospitalized. The employee suffered four broken ribs on the right side, nerve damage to the right wrist and hand because it was caught under the lift's handrail, and abrasions on the left knee and ankle.
