Incident Narrative

On May 2, 2017, an employee was injured while transporting a patient. The employee was exiting an elevator with the patient on a bed. When the employee pulled on the footboard, it came off striking the employee in the head. The employee fell to the floor, again striking their head. The employee was hospitalized for a skull fracture and brain bleed.
