Incident Narrative
An employee was handling sheet metal and assembling ductwork in the shop. While handling sheet metal, the employee lost his balance and fell, striking his hip against the concrete floor. He had a tape measure in his pocket on the hip on which he fell. Ductwork that was being handled then fell on the employee. The employee was hospitalized with a broken hip.
