Incident Narrative
The employee had just returned from picking up a semi-trailer of scrap metal from a third-party and was opening the doors to the semi-trailer before backing into the loading dock. When the employee opened the door on the driver's side, scrap metal fell from the trailer onto the employee resulting in a broken hip and leg and internal injuries requiring surgery.
