Incident Narrative
The employee was moving a tall pallet load from a trailer with a powered pallet jack. As the pallet was exiting the trailer the top struck the bottom of the trailer's rollup door. The door fell and the employee attempted to catch it with his right hand. The door dislocated the employee's right thumb that required two metal pins to be surgically inserted.
