Incident Narrative

Two employees were attempting to bleed air out of a hydraulic line that was supplying a self-leveling dock plate. The first employee was under the dock plate while the other was above and operating the controls. The hydraulic pressure bled off suddenly, dropping the dock plate on the first employee's leg. He suffered a broken femur and required surgery.
