Incident Narrative
An employee was using a hand held grinder with a 5-6 inch blade to grind a granite countertop. The grinder kicked back and the back end of the grinder struck the employee in the mouth. While trying to regain control of the grinder, the grinder blade lacerated his left bicep requiring surgery and hospitalization.
