Incident Narrative
An employee was operating the board edge unscrambler when he noticed a stick had become jammed beneath the floor chains. When he attempted to remove it, his shirt was caught on a chain lug that then pulled his left arm into the machine, amputating his left ring fingertip, crushing his left hand, and injuring his left arm. The machine was running at the time.
