Incident Narrative

An employee was unloading sulfuric acid 98% from a truck. When he disconnected the truck's black transfer hose from the host's receiving cam lock, he was sprayed with the chemical and suffered severe chemical burns to his neck, abdomen, left thigh, and left calf.
