An employee was evaluating a defaulted/de-energized trolley kart when the trolley kart self-energized and rapidly moved toward the employee. The employee was struck by the trolley kart and pinned between a conveyor and the bumper of the kart causing a laceration to the left inner thigh. The employee was hospitalized.
