Incident Narrative

On October 26, 2016, at approximately 2:15 p.m., an employee was injured while felling a tree. The tree had been topped and skinned. Using a chainsaw, the employee felled the tree which caught on something as it fell. The bottom of the tree kicked back and struck the front of the employee on the leg and foot. The employee was admitted to the hospital and treated for multiple fractures to the left leg, below the knee.
