Incident Narrative
An employee was stacking wrapped chicken tender packages when he noticed chicken tenders that had become lodged in the edge sealer of the packaging machine and attempted to remove them. At that point, the machine activated and the blade of the edge sealer impacted and amputated his right index fingertip.
