Incident Narrative

An employee was standing to the left side of a truck adjacent to the lift gate with his right hand stabilizing a window and left hand on the edge of the truck bed when a coworker raised the lift gate. His left thumb was caught between the lift gate and the truck's tailgate, causing a deep cut that required hospitalization.
