Incident Narrative

At approximately 1900 hours on 24 August 2016, an employee was involved in a "High Altitude Low Oxygen" (HALO) "free fall" parachute jump as part of his training curriculum. When the wind shifted at the drop zone, he was dragged into a chain link fence and fractured his right leg/ankle. The employee was admitted to the hospital and will require surgery to repair the fracture to his leg/ankle.
