Incident Narrative

An employee was unloading 10- to 15-pound packages from a trailer and stacking them. The employee finished unloading the packages and stepped onto the roller system (8 to 9 inches long in the middle of the trailer deck). The employee then lost their footing and hit the floor, striking the left hip and breaking the left femur.
