An employee finished up on a rig cap on a new roof he helped install. He unhooked from the crane lift and reached over to hook his D-ring to the beam when he slipped and fell approximately 12 feet to the ground below. He dislocated his shoulder, fractured a rib, and suffered facial abrasions.
