Incident Narrative

An employee and a coworker were trying to hitch a cube wagon to feed cattle. The hitch would not latch onto the ball of the vehicle, so the employee used his finger to check what was causing the problem. The hitch latched onto the ball while his finger was caught in between, amputating his left index fingertip.
