Incident Narrative
An employee was moving a setting tool from the tool stand to a vise located on the back bumper of the logging unit to make some adjustments on the tool. As he was attempting to place the setting tool onto the vise, the setting tool struck the vise, causing the tool to slide down from the employee's hand. His finger slipped into a hole on the tool and a sleeve on the tool came down, pinching his left middle finger.
