Incident Narrative
An employee was riding on the side of a chassis racker (a specialized industrial truck) while being trained. The trainer was in the driver's seat operating the industrial truck. The trainer drove the truck too close to a nearby chassis, and the injured employee's leg was caught between the moving truck and the nearby chassis. He sustained a severe laceration/cut to his left calf/leg that required stitches and overnight hospitalization.
