Incident Narrative

An employee was dismantling a mobile tugger. As he was pulling back on the motor, the pulley was caught on the bottom track of the wall and came out of the extension arms, causing the weight to shift toward the motor side. The motor began to counterbalance toward the employee. He then tried to prevent the equipment from flipping up by catching the weight of the motor. At that time, he injured his back and fell to the floor. He was hospitalized.
