Incident Narrative
An aircraft mechanic was working with other mechanics on an MD88 aircraft bin. The injured employee attempted to use the golf cart to step up into the bin, when his foot slipped and hit the pedal of the electric golf cart causing the golf cart to move forward pinning the employee between the golf cart and the aircraft. The employee suffered two fractured ribs, a fractured T9 vertebrae and had blood in the lungs.
