Incident Narrative
An employee and coworkers were removing rigging from a steel I-beam. As they were freeing the straps from under the load, one of the straps became caught under the beam. The upward force of the strap caused the beam to tip over, pinning the injured employee's foot underneath it. He was hospitalized with a broken right ankle.
