Incident Narrative

An employee had just delivered a load of steel to the galvanizing plant to be coated, and a load of galvanized steel had been loaded onto his trailer for the return trip. He climbed onto the flatbed trailer, positioned the tie down straps used to secure the load, and was climbing down the rear step/bumper to get off the trailer when he slipped and fell, breaking his right leg.
