Incident Narrative
An employee was operating the slitting machine while wearing gloves. While actuating the rollers on the slitter, the employee attempted to remove a piece of scrap. The roller pulled his glove into the point of operation, causing an open avulsion to his left thumb and an open wound to his left pointer finger.
