Incident Narrative
An employee was picking up a lasher turnbuckle while a container was being loaded onto the ship by an overhead crane. When the crane operator was lowering the container onto the ship, the crane operator placed the container in the wrong position and struck one of the twist locks. That twist lock came off and struck the employee in the lower back, causing spasms and finger numbness
