An employee was hospitalized after they slipped and fell approximately 15-20 feet through a scrap cavity located beneath the AP-8 mechanical power press while pushing scrap into the cavity. The employee suffered a fractured ankle, broken nose, lacerations to the face, and is scheduled to have surgery on a fractured elbow.
