Incident Narrative
Two employees were preparing to perform glazing work on the 16th and lower levels of a new construction project. The adjustable suspended scaffold failed for unknown reasons. Employee 2 was able to jump out of the basket, grab one of the supporting ropes and climb to the roof. Employee 1 fell approximately 100 ft. to the ground with the scaffold. Employee 1 sustained severe head and body trauma along with a fractured right leg.
