Incident Narrative
An employee was pushing a deep fryer back into place after cleaning behind it. One of the fryer wheels became caught when a loose drain cover on the floor shifted. The fryer and employee fell, and the hot cooking oil in the fryer spilled onto the floor and onto the employee. He received 3rd degree burns on his right hand and on both legs from the knees down.
