Incident Narrative
An employee activated a pneumatic holding mechanism by foot pedal while placing a plastic door on a machine. The clamp pinched the employee's right middle finger between the clamp and the plastic door. When the employee pulled their finger out, the right middle finger nail and skin were removed.
