Incident Narrative

At approximately 12:00 PM on July 9, 2015, an employee fell off of a moveable ladder/platform while waxing the top side of a wing on a corporate jet. The employee's boot tread got stuck in the tread on the stairs, causing him to lose his footing and fall approximately 48 inches to the ground below. He was hospitalized and sustained three fractured ribs, and possible pelvic and clavicle injuries.
