Incident Narrative

An employee was helping to place a motor on the bed of a truck using a forklift. He reached under the forks to unhook a chain when the forks came down crushing his hand and forearm. No bones were broken, but he suffered severe bruising and a compression injury. The employee's arm was lanced from the wrist to the elbow to relieve internal pressure.
