Incident Narrative

An employee was operating a forklift to unload equipment when he accidentally disabled the parking brake while getting out of the forklift to readjust the load. The forklift started rolling toward him. In the process of getting out of the way of the forklift, his thigh got cut on the deck of the forklift. He was hospitalized and received stitches.
