Incident Narrative

On May 16, 2015, at approximately 9:15 p.m., a maintenance employee suffered an amputation of the left pinky finger just below the nailbed. The employee was using a Porta power pump and ram to remove a bearing from the end of a roll when the employee's finger got smashed between the ram and bearing. The pump was running at the time of the incident.
