Incident Narrative
An employee was attempting to square up a 90-degree bend with a horizontal pipe using an overhead crane. The horizontal pipe slid off its supports towards the employee who used his hands to push the pipe away. The employee's left ring fingertip got pinched between the 90 and the horizontal pipe, amputating the fingertip.
