Incident Narrative
Employees were transferring a barge from dry dock to land. The barge commander gave the "stand clear" signal to everyone. The injured employee's hands were not clear of the lifting cans. The employee's fingers on both hands were crushed between the lifting cans and the bottom of the barge.
