An employee was working from a scissor lift performing connecting work when the steel beam that was supported by a crane struck the scissor lift knocking it over. The employee jumped or fell approximately 12 to 14 feet to the ground and then the scissor lift fell on top of him. The employee suffered two broken ankles and was hospitalized.
